USAGE & BENEFITS OF MAHAMRITYUNJAYA MANTRA-1

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is one among the finest Mantra’s in Indian Mythology and Spirituality belongs to Lord Shiva.It is a combination of three hindi language words i.e. “Maha” which means Great , “Mrityun” means Death and “Jaya” means Victory which turns into Conquer or victory over death. It is also known as “Rudra Mantra” or “Trayambakam Mantra”. Rudra refers to Lord Shiva.

The Great Mantra is :

Om Trayambakam Yajamahe,

Sugandhim Pushti Vardhanam,

Urvarukmiv Bandhanat,

Mrityurmokshaya Mamratat.

Hindi :

त्रयम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् ।
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् म्रुत्योर्मुक्षिय मामृतात् ॥

This Mantra has a great utility and has been a successful mantra for those who are suffering from some sever disease or having the fear of sudden death. This mantra has a highest form of energy as it also denotes Gayatri mantra and when it is chanted a person can really feel energy making heavy movements in his body.

HOW TO USE MANTRA:

1. A person can either chant 108 Mantra’s or a Mala daily. 108 is important because it has a great mathematical calculation. 108 is the multiplication sum of 12 and 9. 12 here refers to Zodiac Signs and 9 refers to planets. When a human chants this Mantra for 108 times all his planets and zodiac signs instead or making ups and downs in life come on track and stay calm and because of their changed nature human life settles again.

2. When a person is scared of unnatural death or serious disease he has to get the Pooja done by a priest and the priest later on does a pooja in Lord Shiva temple and chant one hundred thousand mantras to benefit the person who has arranged for the pooja.

Apart from the above two ways if a person lacks time but wants to get the benefit of the Mantra then he must go to Lord Shiva Temple daily and must pour water on Shiv Ling and chant the Mantra for just five times. It would be great if you can also put “Bilva Patra” on the Shiv Ling and the pour the Water. Thats a surety that within 15 days starting from Monday a person will start getting rid of certain mental and physical troubles.

This mantra can be chanted anytime of the day or night even when you are about to sleep and this is very effective too. This is not only for saving life but also a great mantra for concentration and mental peace. A person must concentrate on his third eye position and chant this and slowly and gradually he will start feeling the positive energy in his third eye.

In the beginning concentrating on the third eye would be painful because you mind will not be able to resist the pain but with practice you can really do it well and lately everything you do will be successful as your third eye will show you everything in advance.

Sadashiv is the witness, well-wisher and nourisher of all beings

Sadasiva::At the end of Pralaya, the Supreme Lord thinks of re-creation of the world. He is then known by the name Sadasiva. He is the root-cause of creation. From Sadasiva creation begins. In Manusmriti He is called Svayambhu. Sadasiva is unmanifested, He destroys the Tamas caused by Pralaya and shines as the self-resplendent light bringing forth the five great elements, etc., into being.The Siva Purana says that Siva is beyond both Prakriti and Purusha. Siva is Mahesvara.

He is the witness, well-wisher and nourisher of all beings. The Gita says: ‘Upadrashtanumanta cha bharta bhokta mahesvarah’. Mahesvara conducts the work of creation according to His will and pleasure. The Sruti says, ‘Mayam tu prakritim viddhi mayinam tu mahesvaram’. Know Prakriti to be Maya and Mahesvara to be the wielder of Maya or Prakriti. The Shakti of Siva works in two different ways. Mula Prakriti and Daivi Prakriti.

Mula Prakriti is Apara Prakriti from which the five elements and other visible objects and the Antahkarana are evolved. Para Prakriti is Chaitanya Sakti which converts the Apara Prakriti and gives name and form to it. Apara Prakriti is Avidya and Para Prakriti is Vidya. The controller and dispenser of these two Prakritis is Lord Siva.

Meditation is important for every human being. Meditation fulfills the natural tendency of human life to look for a joy that does not diminish, a love that does not get distorted or turn into negative emotions. Some people ask me if meditation is foreign to us? Absolutely not! You have been in meditation for a couple of months before your birth.You were in your mother’s womb doing nothing. You didn’t even have to chew your food. Everything was done for you. So there is a natural tendency in every human being, in every soul, to crave for that state of absolute comfort. You know why you want comfort? It is because you were comfortable at one point, because you have experienced a state of comfort called meditation. Meditation is absolute comfort. Getting back to that state that you experienced before coming into the hustle and bustle of this world is very natural because everything in this universe is cyclic. Everything wants to go back to its source. That is the nature of the world. During autumn, leaves fall and go back to the soil and nature has its own way to re-cycle them. The natural tendency to re-cycle all that you have collected every day of your life as impressions, to get rid of them and to get back to the original state that you were in when you came to this planet, is meditation.

Becoming fresh and alive is meditation. Getting back to that serenity which is your original nature is meditation. Absolute joy and happiness is meditation. Pleasure minus excitement is meditation. A thrill without anxiety is meditation. A love without hatred is meditation. Hunger drives you toward food, thirst pulls you toward water, in the same way, the soul yearns for meditation and this tendency is in everyone. Meditation is food for the soul. 3] Prepare Your Mind: Now when you are ready for this mesmerising experience, you also need to prepare your mind. Whenever somebody asks you to sit calm and not think anything, your thinking process gears up. No matter how hard you try, but it gets impossible to stop the thinking process. As thinking is not in our control, we set a focus for our brain to help us concentrate on meditation. We focus only in our imagination while keeping the eyes closed. With closed eyes, you can focus on a point, or you can take yourself to a beautiful garden or a beach.

4] Some Mind Soothing Music: Music plays a very pivotal role when it comes on mood. So, if you are going on meditation, play some soothing instrumental music matching your ecstatic world where you are going for meditation.

5] Start Meditating: Let’s take garden as an example. Decorate your garden as per your wish and sit at the most mesmerising place there. (Remember, everything is happening in your imagination.) Now, concentrate on one image or face you believe in most; be it your mentor, God, or a Holy symbol like ‘Om’. Just focus and absorb everything out there. Now, you exist in that world. The new world is very beautiful and you are there to absorb the eternal bliss. All the cries of life are going out and the positive cosmic energies are illuminating your body. You are now purest of your form. You have taken out all the negativities of your body and there is no restraint on anything any more. You are a free bird and can flee to anywhere you wish to. Stay in this situation as long as you want to and move out of there slowly with a promise that you will come back soon. But leave the place immediately if your thoughts are taking you back in your room or home. Don’t mix these two worlds because you need to go here everyday for rejuvenation. Keep your sacred place in a corner, away from all the hassles of your life.

6] Smoothly Close The Process: Once you are out of your beautiful world and in consciousness again, revise the entire event and sum up the conclusion. You will find out many hidden things about yourself during the process.

6 Steps To Start Meditation

1] Choose Your Sacred Place: In order to meditate properly, you need to search for a suitable place first. If you have a spare room away from any type of noise, it is amazing. But, if you don’t then you can adjust in your bedroom. Spare a corner in your room, which is free from any disturbance. It would be better if you can sit on a stool. Cover the stool with white cloth. Keep some nice aromatic candles around or you can use incense sticks for fragrance. Further, you can keep some flowers around you to make you feel refreshed. The light should be natural. If it is night then preferably your room should be dark. However, if it is difficult, you can put up some candles or a lamp would also do.

2]Prepare Yourself Physically: The next step is to prepare yourself for perfect meditation. Take shower, wear clean loose clothes (preferable cotton and white) and don’t wear any type of accessory. It would be better if you can wear clothes as less as possible. Basically, you should have a feel that you aren’t wearing anything. Your body should feel free and out of any type of bound. Your breaths should be long and deep keeping you relaxed.
